Bug Help? Orientation view in ADV build mode is pixelated

As you can see in the orientation box, its impossible to tell what the orientation of the rail is. This started happening right after the server that I play on updated. I thought the hot fix would fix this, but it persists.

I changed none of my settings. I've been playing with the graphics settings but nothing seems to help. Texture pack is default. No one else on the server seems to be having this problem. Same problem in ADV build mode when playing as character and not in a ship or station build mode.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. Not making building fun...

I've resolved it on my end by changing the lighting method back to simple.
