So, as I've now actually uploaded a few things, and have a few work-in-progress shots of a third thing, I've figured now is a decent time to get a shipyard thread of my own started.

First, I'll list what I have that is completed, then whatever is still WIP.

Here we have the Tribal-class Frigate.

I'm slowly working on a partial re-design of that one, but it is extremely slow going due to a growing dislike of the entire boat.

And here we have the TG Rod-Shop Expansion.

I'm still slightly amazed how little time that one took to design and implement. I was expecting a grueling, multi-month long affair like with the Tribal-class, and instead it took about 4 hours.

    The works-in-progress:

    Miramar-class Aviation Cruiser

More screenshots will be coming, expect federation staples like the Bridge, Shuttlecraft Control, and a Transporter room as I both get screenshots and build them.
(I don't actually have a main tansporter room yet, just a dinky little tertiary one adjacent to the Dockmaster's airlock)

I'd try to avoid systems visible in interior spaces.

Oh indeed. I was actively trying to avoid that on the tribal-class, but there just wasn't enough room to do so and keep it combat-effective.

The Miramar has a colossal Thrust deficiency, and one of the "quick" ways to rectify that was by making the majority of the floor/ceilings out of thruster.

Then came the thrust-update, and I'm a bit too far into it to re-work the thrusters. Maybe for a version 2.

Used in moderation thrusters work great in engineering interiors and as basic detailing on the exterior but when the texture is repeated too often within a small area it loses it's appeal.

True of most blocks, actually, though thrusters are particularly unpleasant on that front.

    Anyway, New images!

I went and took a few quick "after" shots to mostly match up with the starters I'd done before, and the difference is fairly large.

First, that "across the spine" shot.

I'm still working on this area, mostly in the blue "machinery" trenches, (partly because I am currently "borrowing" some of the detailing Geasson used in his TMP Miranda) but feel free to make suggestions on the rest of it too.
They might wind up better than what I have/am planning. :)

Next, the back of the Torpedo pod.

This too is not yet done, I've got a lot of "detail" work to do on the grey portion of that pod.

Now, we have some of the "new" footage.

    Here's ShuttleBay Control.

And here we have a few shots of the Bridge.

Allright gents. (well, whomever is watching)

I've "finished" another bout of major edits to the hull, and finally got pictures (one) of the Arboretum that I'm happy with.

I'm not even "nearly" done with the Engineering hulls, but this is a fine stopping point for now, as they're "blocked in" and mostly just need smoothing.

I'm not at all certain what all I'll be doing for detailing on the lower aft of the saucer. The Miranda class has a lot of detailing there, that I don't think will transfer into 1-meter cubes very well. (maybe if I were doing this as a 10x build)

Oh, and yes, I'm aware that Orange and Red are NOT Standard Federation Colors.
That's because they're being used to tell me at a glance what I've Fully-Finished (Orange) and what's been Roughed-In (Red).
I'm actually spending a fair bit of time just going around and converting finished work to the new colors. It'll be worth it at the end, because then I can just convert ALL the Orange to Grey Standard or Advanced.

More images later, (uncertain when) and they'll probably be of the Finished Shuttlebay Parking, or of Engineering.

Okiday! I've gotten the Primary shuttle parking area finished, so here's another Imgur.

As you should be able to tell, the over-all idea remained the same, "hold 6 utility craft"

5 Personnel/light cargo shuttlecraft, and a Salvager work-bee. (the work-bee in use was designed by Tshara, and has been heavily modified)

Okiday gentlemen, a small slew of "new-ish" stuff, along with some genuinely new stuff.

As is obvious with most of what I upload, it isn't truly "finished" yet, but it's getting there.
Afterall, I've yet to do any logic for the cargo-system other than the lift.

Oh, and an Absurdly basic turbo-lift has been installed. I'll need to do a great deal of playing around with Carrier Rails to get those working properly.
