Graphics Glitching 2015

    I seem to be able to see through walls! It looks as if the game doesn't quite finish drawing itself after I spawn. I am on Vista 64 and as far as I know I have the latest video card drivers installed. The card is ATI Radeon HD4850, but because of no more support for Vista the driver detector on the ATI site doesn't work. I have installed the latest catalyst though. Any further guidance would be appreciated.

    Try searching on the amd page with manual search for the proper drivers
    (14.4 seem to be the last for vista)

    Make sure you are using 65 bit Java if you have a 64 Vista OS

    Make sure you did assign a proper amount of Memory to the game in the Memory settings options of the first Launcher


    But the the problem should be if i did understood the description right this

    F_FRAME_BUFFER_USE = false

    set it to true .. either by toggling TAB+F3 in game or by using Settings -> Show advanced settings and search for "Use Frame Buffers" and set it to "on"

    I tried, still no use. I checked java, manually installed graphics drivers and played with settings like you said. Its still all wrong. I tried reinstalling the entire game too. Thanks for your time though.

    I haven't tried the memory settings yet, what should they be?

    Yeah Ill do a screenshot. Sorry to be a noob but could you tell me how exactly? Im not sure itll be much use though, it constantly changes like I can see through the walls then I move the mouse and they are there, it's all moving. The screenshot will show my faction station which used to be beautiful and is now loads of transparent walls lol.

    use F6 or F5 (without and with UI) .. the file will be found in the Starmade folder. you may have to resize it with mspaint or any other grafics tool (just convert it to jpg to compress it) or it may exceed the size limit here.
