Simply, when creating large salvage arrays, if you delete some of the salvagers they will still exsist, fire beams, and have the purple box but can be built in and can't be interacted with.
Using shift v near them will cause some weird selections to happen and some horrid fps drops.

Any idea whats going on :?

I need to build a decent (300k) block salavager but simply laying out the checkerboard is a nightmare....

Those "should" vanish on next reload of the entity, as the server has the ability to remove those invalid links.
(Those may be real metadata or just client side display)

Try to mine stuff with those extra beams, they should cause the "metal grill" alike animation but not remove blocks, this would identify a client side sync issue and they will be gone on next connect/reload.

FPS drops are usually caused by the client sending stuff the server does not accept (sort of desync then, and the client has to correct its state)

    Thank you very much!
Ive tried re-logging, firing the beams, re-spawning the ship from a blueprint but they still remain (this is on a single player server).
The main problem is that the ghost salavge blocks are linking my checkerboards, thus joining most of them together even if I remove parts of them.

If I made the ship on a multiplayer server would I experiance less issues :? Ill have a go to see if its just my laptop XD

    May or may not help,
as single player is also server-client it could be fixed by just creating a blueprint and spawning in the ship again.
It should remove all links to non-existent blocks.

Spawned it in again but problem was still there. I also spawned it on a multiplayer server but it had the same problem.
It seems that somethings ive done corrupted the entities files for good

One of my ships has "ghost computers" in its bridge as well, still linked to the ship core despite not really existing... Grrr!
