    Do weapon trials mean, that you are trying to finetune the warheads? Nice color Code btw. Black works well doesn't it? =)
    Yep. There's a bit of space left in her, so there is room to increase the warhead yield. And yes, black is a nice colour. Especially for blending into the dark nights.

    Okay, a bit of an update.

    The recent game update ate my server. Luckily I had backups. Redocking everything was a pain in the behind.

    Also, I have the longest ship parking lot...


    Another ship is nearing completion as well. I love the MISC Hull ships from Star Citizen, and so I have start working out how to make a working version in StarMade.



    Basically, one button push, and the engine section slides back along an internal boom. Two pylons pop out. I've designed some smaller containers for this ship, and bigger ships will be designed to carry many multiples of these, as well as the larger containers I offer. As with the bigger containers, these small ones are self powered and have thrust. So that they can be landed upon planets, or shuttled between station and ship, or for ship to ship transfers.

    When the ship is unloaded, one button retracts the pylons, and a second retracts the boom.

    The cargo pods are 9x9x9.

    Sadly, the thruster plumes don't seem to work with docked entities. I has a sad.

    Still need to work out how to get shielding, a scanner and a jump drive on board. :) It's very hard to stuff small ships full of stuff. There's also a better (imho) interior than I usually do.

    Ship has a crew of two, and has bunks and a refresher. Wondering if I can fit a galley in there somewhere too.

    Erg. The muse will not comply. I'm in the process of thinking up new designs, stuff to replace everything I have so far. New fighters, new cargo vessels, and hopefully some actual warships. I can see them in my head, but can't get them to paper or shipyard. Anyone else have this happen to them?

    Constantly. I think only 10% of my designs only make it to even being started, with only 10% of THOSE getting to a "finished" state.

    In fact, my 2 big projects now are at a point where I can close up the hull and start in interior, but I'm drawing a blank as to layout and look :mad:

    At least you could start those two. xD I think it would be worse to start something, get near the end and then not be able to complete it satisfactorily.

    Usually. I have one project in particular I don't know when i'll actually get started. Mainly because it's a replica build and if I do it I want to get it perfectly right.

    Usually. I have one project in particular I don't know when i'll actually get started. Mainly because it's a replica build and if I do it I want to get it perfectly right.
    That's what has kept me from making replicas. Tried the Enterprise once, couldn't get it perfect, was more stressful than I expected it to be. So I stay away from replicas.

    Welp I am alive again... well, I actually have a working computer. And a graphics card that can handle Starmade (and loads of other games). It's been a journey. xD Back to building.

    So working on a few things. Updating the fighter line is.. tedious. I've focused on a few new ships, and managed to create some neat looking engines.

    The Serval-class corvette, still under construction. My test bed for the power and weapons changes. Cannons are ... kind of meh. Missiles are okay, but you can't shoot them down any more with mini-AMS. Beams are god-mode. Sweet looking engines, sweet enough that I'm going to emulate them on all the other ships I build now. Including the fighters.

    The two ships from the previous post, plus the in-progress Gaswerks, and a new cargo ship with the crazy industrial engine design. Slightly slimmed down. The corvette engine looked ridiculous, it was half the size of the ship. xD The old jump/defensive ring is now the stabilizer/defensive ring. The corvette there now has defensive turrets. Even though they spit out a veritable lead stream... can't even shoot down a single missile. :O
