Bug Games randomly Blacks out but GUI's still display

Ive been having this issue since the thruster update where the game will randomly Black out the odd part is that GUI's and indicators in game show up still, the map and nav dont dispaly though. it requires a restart to desktop and sometimes it will happen 3 or 4 times in a row. has anyone else had this problem?

My system is
Xeon 1275 v2 3.50 GHZ quad core
16 GB Registered ECC DDR3
NVidea GTX960 4GB GDDR5
ASUS P8B WS Motherboard

Might be something with the Frame buffer. To confirm turning it off (and bloom also off) in the options. Alternatively hold F1 and press F3 to deactivate Framebufffer and F1+F4 to deactivate bloom. (Both need to be inactive for framebuffer to not be used).

It's likely a driver issue, but you can probably play without problem without framebuffers.
