Game Crashing from Salvage Cannons

The game cashes whenever I try and use my salvage cannons. Doesn't matter if the ship has a lot of them or only a few. Anyone have any ideas what could cause this or how to fix it? It's making the game unplayable at that moment. Also, is there any way I can go back to a pre .14 version? The game worked fine for me until the new version came out.

Disable \"draw beams\"



its only a temp fix, but the devs are aware of it. Do you happen to be on a mac?
