Just a little preview of what I'm working on. I started building earlier this day but with a very different strategy. I usual start with the outer hull, then fit some interior in it and then try to squeeze all internals into it. This time I started with the interor layout and after I finish it I'll build the hull around it.

Here you can see the bridge(open part), the hallway, and the big block will be the main crew loung area. This ship will be heavy much inspired by the Serenity (Firefly) so you may can guess what the ship will like in a way but with a big GFI touch :D

a quick update on my newest ship:
I finished the basic interior and started with the very basic hull:

As you can see the ship won't feature a firefly exterior (but still got the internal layout) and is inspired by the tau tigershark:

Another update:
I added the railguns and the missile launchers. Finished the basic engines and started smoothing out the hull.

Things to be done:
-filling the internal space up with energy/shild blocks (by now its about 1/4 filled)
-finish the interior (there is only the basic room layout so far)
-adding wingtips (I don't know how exactly they gonna look like, I'll figure it out later)
-add more details and colour to the hull and engines

Okay my WIP ship -by now known as Manta Class- is on hold.
I'm too lazy to fill up the whole ship, but the exterior is almost done.

I had not much time over the last couple of days, but I managed to build a nice little shuttle for your everyday needs
