    An update on the alesia:

These are the very basics by now. I'll propably change the front end make it look more like the original concept, but its a good start I guess.
Once again due some problems with my old image hosting service, here is the concept of the alesia:

You may want to consider changing for an image hoster that doesn't have a bandwith limit (such as imgur) when posting on forums. I can't see any of your images because you exceeded the bandwidth limit.

Another small update on the alesia.
The main hull is almost finished.
    Things to be done:
    -fixing front end
    -adding engine section and engines
    -equip proper turrets
-interior (only the bridge is somewhat done by now)
    -smoothing out the hull
-adding details and decals to the hull
    -energy and shield systems
-Add more DAKKA!!!! (I may build some missile arrays as main weapon)

The main beam turret is ready!

    And here is the bridge

    accelerate to 88mph!!!
The Alesia has now engines or at least the engine hulls ;)

By now they are only empty tubes with an open front-end but that is going to change during the next days.

Thanks to BearishMushroom for helping me decide on wether I should use three or four engines ;)

The exterior of the Alesia is nearly finished.
The engines are now ready to go, but I may add some more detail to the rear-end.
I removed the missile turret for asthetic reasons, but added 2 missile systems(both guided) and a beam system into the ship itself and added a second beam turret to the underside, too.
Anyway here we go with the pictures:

last but not least to do: the interior!

Thank you very much Rumcajz :)

Unfortunately I had no time over the past few days to do some stuff, but now with school finished and all preparations done for university I got lots of time to take Galactic Forge Industries back to the glory ol' days ;)
So expect some more updates soon :D

The Alesia Class Attack Frigate is done! She needed more love than I expected but now she is ready to kick some space ass ;D

Core Room with circualating lights (my pc is unable to record proper gifs, so only a static pic, sorry)

    Main Hallway

Energy Tank Room with pulsing lines (just for fun with logic)

Airlock -CAUTION: Explosive decompression! (shoots you out of the ship by opening the door)

    Bridge

I will upload the ship if somebody wants me to :)

btw. Is there a way in embed imgur albums?

I really like the design of this ship. Not only the hull, the interior also, i especially like the core room.

A question about the turrets. Lately i noticed that i have to repair, or replace my turrets more often after fights/ pirate attacks. Seeing that you use turrets in a simmilar size and positions, i wanted to ask if you have experienced the same?

    Okay Thanks

Thank you! I guess my next core room will be even better, assuming I gonna build another big ship :)

Yeah. But I guess its because turrets of this size don't have much shields if any, but they don't cost much so you can afford the credits to replace them often.

Speaking of turrets, I'm still not really satisfied with the cannon turrets. Just just don't look right. Anybody got some suggestions? :)

    That looks badass.
I love the backend the most of the ship, which is good. Because that is what you look at the most when flying a ship. (when in 3rd person view)

Thanks Zeno! I tried to make the backend as good as the front and any other part of the ship. But due the fact that the rear part of the alesia was just a kind of grey block, it was very hard to achieve. :)

Anyway I just wanted to show you what I'm currently working on. Something different from my usual style and still a work-in-progress.
