From launcher to desktop

    I start the launcher, make all updates and click the start game button but it sends me right back to the desktop. I've tried reinstalling several time but none of them worked still being sent to the desktop when I click the button. I really like the game and would like to get back in. Thank you.

    Thank you for the instructions on how to properly reinstall. It made the program work again, but now my png averages 2900 steadily. I'm trying to get it down.

    for this, it would also be helpful to see the logs. =)
    They should show some collision or other source of heavy load.

    Seeing the time it takes through that step, this either means you have too many programs running in the background, possibly a virusscanner slowing down the game, or some other process taking most of your system ressources.
    Depending on your installed RAM, you may want to adjust the memory for the game.

    I've got 64 gigs of virtual memory set on this computer and the game is set to 32 gigs. I've only got 2 gigs of internal RAM though. Could my firewall be blocking it? I only run MSE, Malware bytes, and Super Anti-spyware as anti virus. It temporarily installed avast a few days ago, but immediately uninstalled it because it was slowing the computer down. I've got all anti virus software taken off my activate on start up list so I have to turn them on manually. I've been afraid I've got a virus that none of my software has been able to detect playing havoc on my machine, because I can barely use youtube at home. this may be what's getting the ping so high.

    That actually makes a lot of sense, because physical memory is a very small switchboard that is constantly storing on and off signals, and virtual memory the on and off signals have to be written down and read back before the commands can be executed.

    I had this same issue and while the above methods didn't work, I managed to fix the issue by reinstalling java 64 bit specifically. Just reinstalling the default 32bit did not help.

    I figured it out. I had my game memory up to 32 gigs, but my server memory was still at 1 gig so it couldn't keep up with the game.
