With framebuffer on ~ 30 fps, with it off 100+ but there are graphical glitches. You know, the usual stuff people get with blocks blinking in and out as you move around.

My question is this: Is there a way to get the best of both worlds, 100 fps and no graphical anomalies.

    Drivers are up to date
    fx4100
amd card (not near comp atm to give model, it's an older one)
    8gb ram

the grafics glitch is unique to AMD when Framebuffers are off
and i guess that is a very old card if the impact is that big ?

Framebuffer, ironically, doesn't buff frames, but instead it allows for further graphic options (thruster plumes, and all sorts of fancy stuff that'll really spice up your game). With it off the features it allows for will also be turned off (hence the huge increase with FPS). Like SmilingDemon said, and I too experience this (for now), the graphical glitches are AMD exclusive, when Framebuffer is off.

The only way to get the best of both worlds is to fork out on a new graphics card, like I am. Hope this helps!
