Flashing light when sun is behind something?

Every time I am looking in the direction of a sun and it is behind any blocks my screen flashes bright and dark. It is interfering with my ability to play the game

I have seen the sun shining through some block-edges but never had it flash the screen, may you post one or two screenshots?
(To make sure where we could see that happening)
