Seems like a good idea, I dont think there should be more than 3 or 4. and the procedurally generated ones shouldn't be that powerful.

or for every galaxy there could be like 3 big procedurally generated ones and a bunch of little ones. seems like a good idea though

Wasn't the actual number of NPC factions six? I don't know if they plan on letting you join any of them right away, but for some reason I remember six being a number.

if it is, i didn't know that. i only notice 2 on the diplomacy tab.

we are getting the trade guild, outcasts, and salvagers.

and as many procedurally generated or PGF factions as the community come up with.


as many would say "all aboard the hype train"


oh and hopefully we will be able to have missions/quests given out by the main NPC factions.
