I spawn next to a shop when I should be spawning in my last position, but it's like I'm logging in with a different account each time. All my ships are were I last left them but my inventory resets. This only happens when I restart the game and not just relogging.
Make sure you have blueprints of the ships and are using the latest version.
Create a new world no need to delete your existing one. Admin spawn a ship using the admin tab on the catalog window. Move a few sectors logout and restart the game. Log back in and report back on how things behave.

It seems to have stopped on both worlds now, but I don't know why, I think it's just not as consistent.

search for the logs folder inside your starmade install
there should be a file named "logstarmade.0.log" in there
drag and drop that file into an answer here (you might have to zip it first)
