Honestly, im happy this thread is continuing too so that I have ideas for the engine section when i finally get back into starmade...been on a bit of a break... >.> (don't judge me....).

The fact that this thread continues makes me happy. I'm making a station at the moment, so no engines from me for a while.

To be honest, I think we need more of those threads. A lot of people build awesome stuff without ever posting it in a shipyard thread.

After I've gathered myself from building that Khar-Toba-esque thing mixed with Warhammer 40k madness (about 6 days worth of work). I'm thinking of making a thread in the shipyards section of it.

I can build non-blocky ships but I like building blocky and practical with some style. Once we're able to apply function to custom blocks I can go small scale again and build something not so blocky (thinking of a armor-clad slug ship from FTL).

Not bad to start, it's hard to tell how much will be done with it, if anything at the moment it's a bit samey - if i'm not mistaken the two at the back are the same size as the ones on the sides. But as you say, it's a Work in progress.

yes they are all the same size, but that will probably change, i mostly have them there to see how much bigger i can make an engine there.

*chuckles* Heh, something like that I guess. Was in a bad mood while finishing the ship and so I engraved it to make it look like the ship was once used as a cargo hauler before the powers of Warhammer 40k Warp did it's work on it.
If I find/make the time again and when the gravity bug gets fixed (core's in that module on the side), I'm thinking of refitting it and adding a new coat of paint and symbols. Plus the ship IMO looks perfect for some height extension as to house one of my smaller big ships, that or just gut and refit the entire thing. That way I can just add a large docking compartment somewhere inside.

Quite WIP.. was 5 separate engines hence it looks a bit wonky but i kinda like it so far.. what do ya'll think? any advice?
