The only thing getting rewarded here is your destruction for making the foolish decision of building at spawn. Don\'t do it. Do you build your personal house right next to the server spawn on a minecraft server? If you do, you know what happens: You get griefed.
If you need to log out, then first save your ship to the catalog so if it\'s stolen you can just go and buy the ship again. If the fellow members of your faction are stealing your own ships, you probably have no business being in that faction in the first place. Or, your faction has socialist policies where ships are shared, and you didn\'t know.
If you\'re harvesting resources and getting killed constantly by people in powerful ships, you need to either go harvest somewhere else or build yourself a stronger harvester. My harvester ships have the firepower of a small cruiser and strong shields. It\'s a match for mostly anything that tries to attack me, warship or not.
None of the points you listed are examples of griefing. None of them contain any wrongdoing on the assailant\'s end. They are playing the game fairly and doing what the game\'s designed to do. You\'re simply the victim of space warfare and others taking advantage of your ships weaknesses and your own strategies. Play smarter, build stronger, and fly out farther.
Perhaps you\'re used to the security of the typical Minecraft server where everyone\'s limited in the freedom they have with destroying blocks, but here on StarMade the catalog system and everything else allows for real space combat. I\'m glad to play the game this way because unlike Minecraft, where you get banned for \"griefing\" your enemy\'s base after he kills you, you have total freedom with how you can attack and destroy everyone that stands in your way. The weak do not get their way on this game.
