Docked Power inquiry

Are there any good tutorials on creating a power module and docking it to a larger vessel? I've hit the 1 million soft cap and am hoping this is a way around that.

You can try using pull beams to attach a power supply thing to your vessel.

Thanks for the help, everyone. Jayman38, the video was quite helpful, the threads even more so. I think it will start me down the right path to creating power cores. Now I'll need to experiment to find the right combination for my needs.
