I know there are lots of suggestions re. display module variables, but I wanted to throw some specific new ones into the pool: distance of te display module from core on each of the three axes.

When combined with some basic maths equation parsing (which is apparently going to happen?) it will allow display modules to tell the user what floor the module they're reading is on, and in which part of the ship.

Useful for internal navigation on large builds.

I like this idea. SM does have a useful tool for tracking power reactor grouping problems as an example.

While aiming at a block in build-mode there is a hot-key (R-Shift...I think...don't quote me) that gives extra information about that block including it's location within the three axis of the entity. It's a simple number code like the one used in the galactic map but it is just for your current entity. I have used this function many times to track down a power group that got split up into two groups accidentally.
