Bug DevBuild Error & Starmade window Closing when trying to click back into it

Got this error when trying to logon to the dev server not sure what's going on.

Meantime I have a far more annoying issue. Sometimes when I Tab Out into another window than try to click back into Starmade the game just outright closes for no reason. No idea what's going on.

Dev build error .. yes .. that was because the latest ev 223 wasnt working with the then 223 server version .. should work now again.

Tab out tab in .. no idea .. do you have a logfile of it happening ?

This is a "I'm not even sure if it got caught" kind of thing. From what I can tell when clicking back into the game after tabbing out it acts like I hit the close button but trips out when trying to open the game window at the same time so no idea what's going on.

Tab Out and Tab Back In work fine. The issue comes up when it is Tab Out and Click In.

check if a java.exe task is still running in taskmanger after it happens.
because there is a log.txt.0.lck file in your zip .. that does suggest the game wasnt closed (or the java session was not ended) at all
the logfile itself also does end in mid air without anything being logged as error.
are you using the old or new launcher ? maybe it is related to the version of java being in use.
Calani just did release the latest beta build maybe check if that works.

I've had this happen with both launchers. The logs I sent up are from the Beta Launcher from before it went public beta.

weird ... havnt seen or heared anything about a problem like that.
you did assign your whole memory to be used by SM ? or did i read that wrong somewhere ?

maybe when you tab out it gets swaped to disk (and killed in the process) and cant be restored from that state ?
fishing in the dark here .. will ask Andy later if he has seen that in support.

Not sure, going to see if the java process is still running when it does this but kinda doubt it. I'll report back if I can get it to consistently happen again. Oh ran into something strange. Turned on Frame Buffer on the normal launcher and when I tabbed out the game crashed outright. Might be related might not but it's worth looking into.

Meantime in the middle of trying to make the strange close thing happen again to see what happens to the Java exe

2nd .. i am not sure if your Intel iGPU supports that Framebuffer stuff correctly
and its only needed for AMD Users anyway afaik

Haven't updated yet because of a server I'm on. The logs are from the normal launcher not the beta. XD Was waiting for the bug storm of the current patch to quiet down a bit before updating.
