randomizer and sensor, the former is a 1bit random generator (so if you connect 1 activator to 8bit randomizer you get an 8bit random generator)
for the last one I couldn't not find how it works ^^

Saber mentioned the sensors in the tuesday stream. the basic idea behind them is, that they emit a logic signal when triggerd. That could be speed (e.g. to deploy wings or so at a certain speed), weapons reloaded or stuff like that.

New thruster plumes, which change colour and show up through ice.

Yeah, you folks should download the dev build. HFC OMG, the thruster plumes are incredibly sexy.

Any talk of quality of life improvements, fixing shipyards, optimization... simply falls away when you see these plumes.

You WILL redesign your ships to add these plumes, I guarantee.

I don't understand what it is supposed to do at all.
So if you can be more specific i would be grateful. Thanks.

As far as I have understood it, the sensor may work like that:
if you have it hooked up to your thrusters, the sensor will give an logic signal when you move or get to a certain speed.
Or if you have it hooked up to a weapon, it will give a logic signal when the weapon is reloaded, or 50% reloaded or any onther percentage we can set it to

The plumes don't exactly scale, but having that many exposed thruster blocks means that you will have an immensely huge glow coming out the aft of your ship from all the individual thruster effects stacking on top of one another.

it doesn't scale in the z-axis if you mean that, but due to the nature that the plumes are now big glowing clouds they look as one, when the thrusters are grouped

Download it and check? Next proper update is still apparently about 3 weeks away in any case, with AI fleets being revisited.

Most recent dev builds were release candidates for the hotfix that came out.
