Thought I might post a couple of pics on a project that has been running for longer than I care to admit.

Had to break it up into its own post because of picture limits..

    but yea, Updates!

Aim is for this ship to be a support cruiser in the anti - Drone (sorry Kep...) / anti-fighter for fleet ops.
Havent built the anti-fighter turrets yet though...

Ignore the power lines behind, that's there for testing. This is my take on swarms, without swarming. 16 individual weapons with a 0% Missile slave, logic fired in sequence. Multiple missiles that target independently :)

Took a quick break from the cruiser to start work on a modular station, my plan is to have a station core that has everything that has to be on a station, while all the other bits can be slowly be docked to the central hub to make an station thats easier to construct on survial

    *The ship belongs to FlyingDebris

    Update #5!

Made a ridiculously over-engineered crate with a pass-code lock on cos why not :p, got a few bugs which need ironing out like not excepting some combinations, but for the most part it should fulfil its purpose as a programmable secure storage solution!

In other news, the refit of the NFD-Lytra class frigate nears completion, requiring some polishing and turret upgrade. This ship features close to full defensive effects (ion, punch and pierce) as well as a radar Jammer.

    knock knock...

    crew living areas

crew living area continued, including food prep area in the corner

    the bridge

    Captains quarters

    crew quarters

    Med Bay

Cheers for the help from Warprider and the go ahead to refit the ship from FlyingDebris

Work on the cruiser has restarted, but its a core move job which is... daunting :/

How do you move the core ?
Unfortunately there is no real way to move the core, rather you must move the ship around the core. I made a frame around the original ship, then placed a new core and constructed an identical frame around this core, only with this core in the place I wanted the core to end up. Then copy and pasted in small sections. This is why you see half a ship so far :P

    hope this helps!

Erm... Was the brown Goliath fighter in the first picture just a recolour, or is it another variant?
