Could I get some in-depth info on crafting?

The title say almost all. :P
Questions:

1. I want to understand how the new crafting system will work. (like, duh.)

2. I was looking through IDs for the /giveid command and found 222, Particle Press. How does it work?

3. Why can't I buy/sell things like water, grass, flowers, stone, or anything that WAS in the terrain section of shops? (As of v0.159)

1) will get explained once its done, as some features are still being programmed and not in the final form yet, it may confuse more than help if it gets explained now, and later re-explained as something was too cpu expensive or didn't work out without possible exploits.

3) This should be a mistake, Ores L2-L5 are marked deprecated and will get removed in the long run. The 'Terrain stuff' is also in some overhaul, but the 'not sellable' should be wrong. (Calbiri intended? =))
