'Connecting' Issues

So, I've been building a large ship, and I didn't save it as a blueprint last night before I got off, like I usually do. When I returned to the world this morning, all I get is 'Connecting'. Is there anyway I can get the ship off of the world file?

maybe this post by Megacrafter127 is helpful
do a make a backup from the worlfiles first i would suggest though
