Would be interesting to see how the community's opinion on this is these days.

It would be nice to see that mentioned in the forum rules, I see complaints about thread resurrecting and now possible bans, yet there are no rules that prohibit or limit this, or even any warnings that say it's not a "polite" thing to do.

I understand what OP is getting at, and I don't see why some people are all fussed up over it. It's not a limitation, it's an option for people who might want copilots, which isn't entirely possible at the moment. The only real form of copilot is 1 weapon computer. Keep default linking to the core on, but allow the block that OP is talking about to be added, and link them individually if said person wishes to have a copilot.
