This kind of masochism is the mark of an artist. Artists are always evolving their art, which means their previous work is usually unworthy of their present skill. With a large enough project that means it's sometimes better to trash an old project completely and start over than to go through all the trouble of fixing it all.You are truly a masochist. Ditching an existing ship to make an entirely new one again.
Exactly! I had no idea what I was doing back when I started the original Charon. Only reason it looks somewhat decent is because I retrofitted it a billion times, the original was absolute rubbish in comparison. The new version will be entirely planned out from the start so it should be a lot better! This kind of masochism is the mark of an artist. I may have some personal experience with this sort of self-abuse.
It was a pain, and yea I hope that it pays off hahahaLooking quite excellent! Filling in all those angled bits must have been a pain, but it really looks to have paid off.
You're right, it does look like something out of tron lol.Do you know Tron, teh movie where peoples enter mainframes with a simulated world?
I think the hull is already awesome enough
Orange armor cannot be removed once placed, and details and turrets have to be made before the basic hull, therefore you have ruined that ship. How did you not know this?I AM GOING TO REMOVE THE ORANGE ARMOR! I WILL ALSO ADD DETAILS AND TURRETS!
I like it, but it currently looks like someone murdered a sloth and laid it out flatAnd yea I know it looks like crap atm, lack of detail does that
lol, won't have that look once I add the wings back.I like it, but it currently looks like someone murdered a sloth and laid it out flat
