    You might want to update the main turret so it looks related to the smaller guns, which by the way look wicked.
    I need to remake the smoothing on it with the pentas and tetras..... :'(

    I wonder how it would look with side missile pods like the smaller turret do >:D . I really want to do it (for quite some time now) but I'm afraid that it would be too redundant with the smaller turrets.

    Yeah, the missile pods would probably look wrong on a turret dedicated to one weapon. My trident turrets have missiles, but they're embedded into the turret body. Also, they aren't clearly a main turret.

    Well, it doesn't need to be dedicated to a single weapon. Missiles and amcs have the same range. The combo would actually work really well!!! Yep, my mind is made up :P

    AFAIK Dis-Integrators don't chain or damage your ship if they are killed.

    Collision activates them dealing damage on the activator (enemy ship).
    Logic blocks activate them dealing damage on the activator (your ship).

    This even leads to multi-explosions of the same Dis-I block on collisions, because they don't kill themselves (hope this is a bug)

    Dunno about firing a docking beam onto them (works fine on activation blocks, but don't work on step-ons).
    actually, when you fire a amc or a missile at them they explode.

    This only happens when you have godmode enabled, otherwise they DO kill themselves.
    How can you kill them if you have god-mode?

    I guess I have to further investigate, but I miss C4 somehow. C4 can be burnt, shot at, slammed to the ground and does not explode, but explodes with a special trigger.

    Update #12.1
    In other news, I finished the systems on the turret!


    -Main weapon DPS: 45k
    -Missile burst DPS: 120k
    -Stop-beam potency: you ain't going anywhere
    -power: enough to self sustain, I don't want to have an extra 10 million regen on the main ship for the turrets.
    -Shields: 250k with 8k regen/sec.

    The main guns (amcs) used to have punch-through, but that didn't give me enough shields and substantially gimped the shield damage AND made it power unstable. I replaced all off it by shields. Besides, it's not like I needed it ;)

    I updated the images on the first post with the new turrets :D. Oh, and I really hate the turret orientation glitch -_-

    Next up: Drone bay.

    UPDATE 13:

    I proudly present the SOUL drone:





    Inspired by the success (and failures) of the Oblivion drone, this little sucker was made! This one has notable visual improvements such as a proper engine (or no systems sticking out) and doesn't have any turrets.

    It will be mounted on the upcoming drone racks.

    There's 22 drones on a rack and there will be two racks on the ship. So basically 44 drones ready to be deployed at any time. Just to give you an idea of how scary it will be, 44 drones firing together have a burst damage of ~500k. More than enough to hurt most small to medium ships >:D

    A few stoppers can give you time to escape or trap somebody.

    Having stoppers on there could potentially be really good but I didn't have the space, unfortunately...

    The ship's turrets already have a stop effect so also having it on the drones would be a bit redundant. I'm cultivating the idea of having a few slightly bigger stop only drones launched from the front for when I need to web a target in place without damaging them (or just temporarily stalling a target).
