can't update to v0.1424

I assume you made a typo on the Numpad and ment to type 0.1421? then it's the second link. download it and extract to launcher director \StarMade\

Can you descript which steps you did take to update your game version (please provide as much details as possible). Provide also what you expect, what you get, etc..

first I started the launcher then clicked update and install it downloaded the file but the came up with a error. I then tried with the manual download and it came up with the same error

That problem is not new. There is also another thread about it, however, without a solution. Try to do a clean install of the game, see if that works (redownload the launcher from the site, put it into an empty directory).

have you tried der_scheme 's advice?

Try to do a clean install of the game, see if that works (redownload the launcher from the site, put it into an empty directory).

Let us know if it solves the problem or not so other players checking the thread can use it as a solution.

Had the problem yesterday! Seems to be a bad download or somnething like that from the launcher!
Manual downloaded and unziped into Starmade folder in Launchers folder from http://files.star-made.org/build/ solved it !
