Building a 1/3 scale USS Vengeance from JJ Trek

So ive been working on it for the last couple days and have the hull about 75%. I think its coming along nicely. but let me know what you guys think.

Looks swell! Isn't the Vengeance more black than grey, though? Or has the white Enterprise compared to the darker Vengeance thrown my memory off?

We really need to get all the Enterprise and Vengeance-builders together to create the ultimate re-creation of one or the other. Or both!

Nope. It's dark grey (which is what that is with the contrast bumped a little to see details better). But compared to the very light greyish/white of the enterprise. It does look almost black from certain angles.

Pretty impressive. Even though I've never watched Star Trek.

It is 450m long and around 250m wide. The original "dreadnought class" one from the film is around 1400m long

What it lacks in sense it more than makes up for in casting and visuals.

Yea, I guess so. It definitely suffered less from the contradictions of the other series.

But the quality of episodes varied quite a bit..

ive been busy getting established on a new server and "real life stuff".. but it isnt far off. Just need to finish the interior really. I did put the bad ass turrets on the front though from the movie.

The dimensions are great because they are manageable for smaller comps, and the relative sizes are all good - This would look that much more amazing with aztec-ing (Since the vengeance has exaggerated aztec.) Good work!

Iam working also on my PvP Version of USS Vengence 700m long Version that is more afortable on servers.

New Spock's now gigantic fat nose just destroys the whole movie for me!
