Build Helper

anyone else having trouble with the upgraded build helper now?

i use the helper, i clear it, i go back to building, i try to use it again and it no longer allows me the opportunity to select a target block. i can adjust the settings of the helper, but it stays locked onto the original block i used as its center. i can basically only use it once per entity now unless i completely re-log.

is this a bug or am i missing something?

scratch that. it's not about the original block i targeted. the entity i'm working on is a station, and my first use of BH always goes great, second attempt has it locked to the station first block (the original spawn point where the HUD icon appears outside build mode).

Can confirm this, happens with ships also. Really annoying when I'm making an organic asteroid-ish fleet for the contest. Making all the ellipsoids by hand!

I have also encountered this for my station.

I was going to say this should be posted in Game Support or Phabricator, but it already is.

T242 can be used as a workaround. When the build helper gets placed in the wrong position, copy a block and paste it where you want the helper to be centered.
