Well the KBF Is no more, but the grey, black n rivets ships have really stuck with me.
So I thought I'd make one of these again, with images & maybe info of in use as well as any future wip builds.
Lancet Shuttle
Weaponless, and will fall apart in a stiff space-breeze, but near max thrust w/ near max overdrive, should get you from point A to B in style and quickly, so long as point B isn't too far away.
Crusader Drone
Almost named the "barely legal" for ...reasons. A very efficient block destruction focused cannon & beam drone with many outputs, can punch well above its weight, utilising all block damage effects & a single Ion output hidden in among it all. Light shielding, Forward focused Adv armor plating, spaced forcefield armor & a 2 output PD turret handle its defences.
Gladius Class Corvette
The little armor tank that could, originator of my low shield cap w/heavy armor & passives + shield injection design theme (thats kinda shit on ships this size tbh, no-dakka-lol), its meagre 110k shield capacity is often scoffed at, until it palms off multiple hits that would even make capital ships break a sweat. Primarily armed with cannons (punch) & cannon turrets (explosive), as well as AMS coverage from 4 single output PD turrets. Comes with a chain drive & 4 interchangeable drones (Ion, EMP & Punch versions) by Schismatiste.
Culter Class Heavy Destroyer
By the power of Volkschiff! This one took some love to get finished, more or less learned logic from scratch to get everything working. About the largest variety of *actually helpful* combat logic on a ship its size/in general, flickerfields, & deployable modular armor, sequenced rapid fire railguns & swarmers, a nice thick doom lazer that can actually change direction while firing, huds to line up with logic weapons, deployable anti missile chaff swarm, 12 anti missile turrets & pair of smaller anti-escort/fighter turrets.
Pandora Class Dreadnought
Here's an original idea, get this, a 600m long ship... that fires loads of missiles... call me crazy but it just might work ey? A constant WiP that has undergone many trials by fire, more docked parts than actual ship, her on nav stats are pretty deceptive for 300k+ mass. Front several hundred meters of the ship are mostly adv armor because thats the end you point at baddie ships. Can fire every weapon efficiently, generate shields & meander around from 0% power because maths. Clean of sploits & bugs since 2016 (probably, its a big ship u gaiz)
It's not all missiles, however due to the total absence of anything but beam support on the weapons systems (other than the AMS turrets of course, and the rear facing cannon turret, thats just cannon-explosive) they sure leave the biggest impression.
