    -several ships needs an update to the new Aux Power system, or to be put down :(-

    Well the KBF Is no more, but the grey, black n rivets ships have really stuck with me.
    So I thought I'd make one of these again, with images & maybe info of in use as well as any future wip builds.

    Lancet Shuttle


    Weaponless, and will fall apart in a stiff space-breeze, but near max thrust w/ near max overdrive, should get you from point A to B in style and quickly, so long as point B isn't too far away.

    Crusader Drone

    Almost named the "barely legal" for ...reasons. A very efficient block destruction focused cannon & beam drone with many outputs, can punch well above its weight, utilising all block damage effects & a single Ion output hidden in among it all. Light shielding, Forward focused Adv armor plating, spaced forcefield armor & a 2 output PD turret handle its defences.

    Gladius Class Corvette

    The little armor tank that could, originator of my low shield cap w/heavy armor & passives + shield injection design theme (thats kinda shit on ships this size tbh, no-dakka-lol), its meagre 110k shield capacity is often scoffed at, until it palms off multiple hits that would even make capital ships break a sweat. Primarily armed with cannons (punch) & cannon turrets (explosive), as well as AMS coverage from 4 single output PD turrets. Comes with a chain drive & 4 interchangeable drones (Ion, EMP & Punch versions) by Schismatiste.

    Culter Class Heavy Destroyer

    This one took some love to get finished, more or less learned logic from scratch to get everything working. About the largest variety of *actually helpful* combat logic on a ship its size/in general, flickerfields, & deployable modular armor, sequenced rapid fire railguns & swarmers, a nice thick doom lazer that can actually change direction while firing, huds to line up with logic weapons, deployable anti missile chaff swarm, 12 anti missile turrets & pair of smaller anti-escort/fighter turrets.

    Pandora Class Dreadnought

    Here's an original idea, get this, a 600m long ship... that fires loads of missiles... call me crazy but it just might work ey? A constant WiP that has undergone many trials by fire, more docked parts than actual ship, her on nav stats are pretty deceptive for 300k+ mass. Front several hundred meters of the ship are mostly adv armor because thats the end you point at baddie ships. Can fire every weapon efficiently, generate shields & meander around from 0% power because maths. Clean of sploits & bugs since 2016 (probably, its a big ship u gaiz)

    It's not all missiles, however due to the total absence of anything but beam support on the weapons systems (other than the AMS turrets of course, and the rear facing cannon turret, thats just cannon-explosive) they sure leave the biggest impression.

    Silky smooth 20 FPS boiiisss, this is what being a console gamer must feel like
    Chunkdate has been nice to me so far, with one issue, Shield Injectors on the Gladius seem to like coming undocked and just sitting there in their bays completely still, but seperate. pls.

    Still some work with systems/turret bases need redesigning, but I think I should be well on time ^.^
    Basic hull feels like I'm covering it with plastic...

    Turrets "Hulled", ship about half hulled... 11.7k mass... ugghhghghhhhh

    Time to dig out that outer layer of shields.

    Well this has been an interesting few patches, way to throw a spanner in the works so close to the B&S deadline (I'm assuming a lot of already submitted ships are actually completely broken now)

    While the coolest feature has to go on hold until I can confirm whether some AI behaviour introduced this patch is intended or not, she's pretty much ready, and still has ~900 mass left for hulling, should fit everything together under 12k with no issue :)

    Little hulling done, pretty much bare underside still, too much unfucking of approximately every single part has kept me busy the last few days...

    Was wedging away all day and suddenly realised i was "finished", small amount of mass still to go for systems like i thought, pretty happy with the final look for how sparingly I could hull.

    JK small ships are boring for now, we're getting those batteries things instead of docked reactors so i feel like building something big again.
    And well, two days have gone by and I have this all of a sudden


    In need of a few more support systems, and some actual interior (speaking of what's the bare basics suggesred for good compatibility with the upcoming crew features?). Otherwise ready to hull. Turrets are whats going to slow me down most I think.

    Finishing off the armor layer, should probably take me the rest of my day but its for science
    Now past the 2 million mass mark, and seriously considering adding an extra layer of wingyness to the width, unless I put some big dakka or docked armor plates / combination of both along the outer arms. Might sleep on it, but certainly seems a bit flat on the sides now that the rest has been smoothed out.

    Couple of pointy chunks on the backend couldnt quite load :(

    Work contin- is on hold until NFD is updated, since I forgot to save my fancy new missile pods (200k dps each and completely self powered) to local before the update -_-

    But now(or tomorrow rather) I can start adding the lovely new Aux power and properly cover the thrust/full firing of weapons.

    Lettering swapped to white because its edgy enough (Arrancadora De Tripas is the name im going with)

    4, no, 2 x 1m dps long range railgun turrets set for select fire added, still needs loads of PD and maybe some mid size cannon turrets but that's for another time.

    Think i should do some smoothing just so it looks a bit more shiplike with updates.

    Started the detailing pass on the front section, which led to me changing letter color again, still don't know :/

    been having "fun" refitting ships & playing with the new aux power blocks for a little while, but been drawn back to this build again, namely getting some up to date turrets to put on the thing.



    the missile pods in the center are the spam ones running along the center line of the ship, punch machinegun in front obviously still a bit wip lol, huge one in the background is missile-beam at 100% support. All are efficient under their own power, the cannons being 150k dps, mid range missile pods 200k dps, bigguns 280k dps. And rather durable too with ~1mil capacity shields & light recharge on each part to help deal with the odd cluster of missiles they're gonna draw.

    Wings are going to be extended to allow 2-3 turrets superfiring,

    Last two days distraction, decided i was actually kinda awful at turrets still, so meet the Aster Class Corvette. Still only catching its "good" side since it's very much a work in progress like pretty much everything else is since Aux *grumble grumble*

    A turret first build, something like the younger cousin of the Elucidator, it's using quite a few self powered cannon turrets of the "socket" variety (power & shields in the base largely hidden within the hull). Hopefully once it's done I'll feel a bit more confident setting up turrets on Arrancadora that have the mobility, aesthetics & systems balance to really last the test of time.

    So far this ones been a huge improvement on my use of space for them, if not necessarily blocks (compactness = more reactors required to self power the buggers). Much nicer than big flat washboard bases sliding across the hull anyway.
