Planned Asteroid belt immersion

There are several non-trivial portions that make implementing this more difficult.
Still, I would like to see this implemented in some fashion as it would definitely improve the sense of immersion. (and it could be so pretty)

I'm not going to mark it as planned, but I'll definitely say it's a good idea.

I definitely think there are non-trivial problems here but its an area where good enough is all you need. Just something to give you a feeling. A similar system could be used for nebulae and ion storms.

Perhaps another system like this could eventually be added to make the centers of galaxies the radiation-filled killer areas that they truly are. Also, space clutter should probably be more common in the centers of galaxies, because they're really messy places.
