Anyone checked out the '/creature'-commands?

    I knew about the NPC skin replacement, but the helmet command is new to me. This is really awesome on so many levels. Sprinting is almost a requirement for any game, but the crawling will open up new design possibilities and further compacting of ships. Get ready to see more ships with crawlspaces and ventilation systems.
    actually i tested the running animation and it appears to be the default moving animation so i kind of spoke too soon. but the crawl animation does have a unique command so looks like it is indeed happening.

    PSA: Now you can have your own "pets"!
    This is how you do the magic (you need to be a admin)
    1. Find a spider or spawn one (spawn a ship and execute "/create_spawner_test")

    The steps two to three can be executed in a random order.

    2. Select the spider and execute: "/creature_script NPC-General.lua"
    3. Select the spider again "/faction_set_entity 0*" (*or your faction ID)

    4. Talk to the spider
    5. Select "I want you in my team."
    6. Congratulation! You now have a spider in your crew and you can command it the same way as regular crew npcs!

    I highly recommend my Quadropidan skin for this!

    And I also have a question, I can't program for shit, so how to I stop any of these animations.
