Entities docked one inside each other cause terrible server lag when disconnected due to damage, as they repeatedly collide with each other.
There are already solutions for this suggested:
1. (A) solution to lag from previously-docked entities colliding
2. Ghost Rails
But here's another, based on something DrTardis wrote in another thread:
Make rail and docker docked pairs (just the two blocks that constitute the connection) ignore all weapons and damage.
So weapons and explosions would go straight through them as though they weren't there.
This would basically eliminate the ex-docked entity collision lag problem from the game, at the cost of virtually no effect whatsoever on any other gameplay aspect.
