I tend to communicate in large blocks and find the complexities of SM to require extensive explanation for some players. 2048 would be more my speed, but... it sounds like even 1024 amplifies exploitability.
I fell like the game desperately needs improved ability for players to statically convey information, but I'm far more interested in a block that brings up a dialogue window than expanding on a block that causes performance issues and which could easily be used to lag exploit if enhanced further.
Showing text in-game is much-needed also, but until they find a way to do it without hurting performance, we at least need the ability to communicate large amounts of information in a static fashion to train, assign missions, describe projects, detail the workings of an entity or feature, etc.
