We are indeed a newly started faction on the Risen server.
The ships are designed by me mostly in single player to upload and then we remake them in multiplayer when we need them.

This is the shipmaking part of the faction though, the faction itself is called The Aesir.

The Nidhogg Class Harvester is a craft built for one purpose: to reap the fruit of asteroids, stations and at time, even planets...a task for which it is very well suited.
The ship is unarmed and slow, so will need an armed escort when salvaging in unfriendly space, but the thick armour and fairly high shield capacity will help it survive long enough to get away with it\'s cargo.
The Nidhogg have been in service with the Aesir for a long time and is now offered for sale here http://star-made.org/node/10829 for 6.302125 credits.

Your ships look good so far, it\'s hard to get small ships to look good but you pulled in off perfectly. You mining ship is very esthetically pleasing but it looks as if it only produces one mining beam, which is very inefficient while mining.

Yatem: I can see what you mean about the mining beam, but actually it\'s 17 beams, the rest are filler not connected to the mining computer as it looks better, at least to me.
It is in fact a pretty effective medium sized mining ship.

Pirates would so strip out the mining lasers of that Nidhogg Class Harvester and jam as many AMCs as it could hold

some brilliant person points out what seems obvious after the fact - I never thought of disconnected AMC or Mining Beam blocks as filler.

The Jotunn J3C Heavy Fighter is a modification of the long serving J3T Transport Ship, sacrificing it\'s transport capability for the benefit of great offensive power.
A Jotunn will often fly in a wing of 5 Valkyries, lending heavy support to the lighter fighters but may also be used together with other Jotunn for heavy strafing and missile runs.
Though not a pretty craft, it\'s sturdy and packs a punch for it\'s size...qualities that will keep it in the Aesir navy for a long time to come.
