Okay if you haven't seen it go check out sector 9000, 9000, 9000. I'd post a screenshot but it's one of those things you have to see in person (it's a moving effect). We have to think of some kind of "briar patch" type of name for this place. I have 2 universes and it was there in both of them so I'm sure you'll see it.

Happens the moment you cross 999 999 999 to 1000 1000 1000 ... looks like a bug to me!

edit: Atra is right ... i at random choosed 5 sectors with a star when i tried that so no bug bug .. only me beeing lucky hitting them.

Are the stars always in the same place? I thought the universe was random.

they are at them moment placed on fixed positions on a universe grid .. afaik ... i never gave a thought to it.

At this point, there's a star in 8, 8, 8, and 8, 8, 24 and 8, 24, 24 and -24, -8, 40 etc. Same every time. The stuff around them varies though. I think there will be a lot more variation with the universe redesign.

Yep. For starters, stars will form galaxies. And the planets will also get changed. But what lies beyond that, one can only guess...
