1st Annual TAW Style StarMade Tournament
The Art of Warfare is now beginning its 1st Annual TAW Style StarMade Tournament beginning in October. The competition will include any and all factions who want to prove that they are the Masters of StarMade. Not only will the "Best of the Best" be there but everyone is welcome to join the server and get in on the action.
Whether your faction is interested in mining, building or shooting there is something fun for you to do at TAW. Factions that just want to play on the server but not compete are always welcome.
TAW is putting a GAME in StarMade!
The game will run for 12 months and a single winner will be chosen; the faction with the most faction points. There will be no ties, only a clear winner. If there is a faction that you DON'T want to see win the tournament, then get yours on our server and get busy NOW!
There are three ways to earn faction points:
- Claim and keep possession of systems.
- Buy faction points.
- Your members log in to play the game.
Your faction will receive enough starting faction points to last a week. (for a single player who stays alive and has not claimed any systems)
Your faction will be taxed faction points per hour based on the number of players you have and also if you have had any player deaths, so keep ‘em alive and playing!
We have the most DANGEROUS pirates in StarMade. We call them players. All AI pirates have been banished to a system we call “The Badlands” You can go there and fight them if you like or you can stay out of their system and not see them at all.
We hope to offer the most advanced spawn station in StarMade. It is a work in progress and we expect that its development will keep players busy adding features for a long time. Come take a tour.
Our server has ONE shop at the spawn station and it is the SINGLE source for the inflow of credits into the server economy. There is no other source of credits. (No trade stations either) The automatic incoming credit flow to the spawn shop will cease at the 6 month interval and only circulating credits will be used for the remainder of the game. We believe this will prevent inflation and give the circulating credits REAL value.
We recommend that your faction be as productive as possible and trade with other factions when necessary.
If you die your credits and blocks are dropped into space and they will stay where they were dropped for one hour. Want ‘em back? Go get ‘em before somebody else does.
Our technical staff has one job: to keep the server updated and running.
Our admins have one job: to prevent anyone from degrading server performance. If someone does this, the admins get into action and correct the situation.
Our staff is impartial; they will NOT help you or hinder you and they will not compete in the game.
We DON’T tolerate spawn campers who shoot at incoming players. No exceptions made. (we expect there will be mercenaries available for correcting this situation)
If you want to win you must prepare your own winning strategy.

Only one will be issued. All you need to do is:
- Recruit the most new TAW members. They must name you as the person who recruited them.
- Your new recruits must become a Private First Class.
- They must attend at least two mandatory meetings and two optional meetings.
Get it all done by November 6, 2016 and enjoy your prize. It's one of the ways we like to give to the community.
