It more works like this. you select a group, similar to how you'd make a selection for copy/pasting, that then makes your "cohesive group". the group would then have its own pool of armor, you can then select where you want the armor to be more focused, at the expense of the other layers...

I verified from steam, and the launcher. The java launcher got the game up, but never loaded into the game. now both work.

I somehow fixed it, didn't get to run the commands, but all I had to do, was remove the data folder in /common/starmade/starmade then verified the game through the launcher. Worked like a charm after that.

I'm using the first one this is the log there's a lot of "does not exist" in there, I re-downloaded the game, purged it numerous times and then re-installed.
