This is an empty research station either abandoned either from danger of what they had or what escaped..... the station center segment has 2 sides top and bottom and to access side each you need to hit the gravity

like around your stations unprotected you could set these up and find clocking ships that try to sneak in and screw you up?

Docking should be modified to acommpany docking benefits like a ship you dock to each other and each piece be a different section of your ship like you have 2 thruster sections 2 weapon docks and and the main cabin and like the thruster dock sections be able to rotate like it actually needs to...
