      You're absolutely right. This should be addressed in my opinion. I like the thrust settings the way they are, but think we should make thrusters face the correct direction to give thrust in that direction.

      I like the current power system for now. I am always open to suggestions, but I'm not sure this is the best system for everyone. I've been trying to think of a better system myself, but keep coming up against brick walls. I do think we need more options than one power reactor. That is for certain.

      Great Idea. I always loved the way the X series set up ship upgrades. I'm totally for this. PS: too bad the old x games didn't have any multiplayer. I wanted multiplayer sooo bad, but they did a terrible job with Rebirth in my opinion.

      This refining of the ideas I like. And yes the ships should definitely be able to send custom messages. This allows for messages to be codded by a code language if desired. I'm not actually sure if I want to change anything in this outline.

I was meaning that it should be 15 - 20 sectors or 1 per system, but I would want the config to be in Sectors not systems because then it can be set with more precise parameters, but also this leaves the possibility for a different system for long range...

      I agree with everything in the post except the distance limit. I think it should cover more distance before needing a relay. Say perhaps 15 - 20 sectors, OR make it server-side configurable.
