      I do not know how the planet generator is done. This post was a suggestion, not how things are now done. (Also, I know next to nothing about coding, so you may want to take your questions to another member of this excellent Starmade community).

      This could, theoretically, happen by having: Randomly generated city symbols Randomly generated room layout within certain parameters Skyscrapers with similar rooms in differing orders

      Food!

      As for healing medicine, that would certainly be useful- I lamented the lack of any healing mechanisms when I was.... experimenting with lava.

      Why the ship core?

      I actually use the core a lot just as a very quick transport when my ship glitches or if I get out too early.

      I would love to see some signs in Starmade. Impressive as it looks, making a sign out of hull blocks is very inconvenient, and I do not think it would take very much coding.
