Maybe not server lag but I believe rendering all those logic beams causes some fps lag. Or at least it does for me whenever i'm around a lot of logic. Still though - it would be easier to tell npcs to go to elevator 2 and take it to floor 3 to get to their station.

So... When is this server going to be open? If spawn is done or mostly done you could open it right now and keep working while people are getting started.

It just occurred to me - would it be possible to link the damage to the HP damage penalty? That way weapons on smaller ships would be stronger and bigger ships would have a bit less of an advantage. Plus it would encourage people to not build server breaking ships and instead build a more medium...

Please lol. You think Joel built that thing? That was an incomplete fleet command/support vessel, intended to be able to launch and repair fleets, but hold off an attacker at the same time. And I built that entire thing.

I just found this and tested it with a ship made of just 3 power capacitors and a shield capacitor, which I charged before testing, then removed the chargers. I found that I couldn't get the power to drop, but when I tried it with the shield generator removed, the power dropped very quickly...
