So as the title says, when I am on my friends ship (walking around with the gravitiy block activate), and as soon as he changes sectors I get teleported behind the ship.
I am not sure if this is really bug or just a main aspect of how the game works, since I kind of know why this happens.

It is because sometimes activating gravity can cause you to push your ship. And in larger ships it pushes it even faster. And thus causing you to get thrown backward in the oposite direction of the ships movement.
Add server plugin abilities. That way people will be able to create and install plugins for dedicated server.
(Just encase you did not know what a plugin is)

This server is running an Alpha game. It has a tendency to crash allot, keep that in mind. I check to make sure it is still up every ever other hour. So if it is down, it should be back up soon.
Is there any plugins for StarMade server?
Such as plugins that can change the color of a name/chattext, or a plugins that can post announcements automatically? Something allong those lines.

This happens to me to, but also on the planet. Ill land on the planet and get out, and sometimes it will send me all the way into space, or make me glitch under ground.
So I have been hosting a Minecraft Server for about a year now, and the port that I have been using is 57921. And in order to get another port forwarded it would cost me $20+/monthly. And in other words I cannot get the port "4242" forwarded on the server computer I use.
