Hahahaha, that would be a pain to salvage! I'd really enjoy a good fight with you guys if I had a decently sized ship. Well... I do have a 125m long ship, a 55mass drone and an empty 1.27km long shell (for now ;) ).
NuclearFun I absolutely love your ships and your style. Sick color scheme (I kinda use the same hehehe) and overall great detailing.
(again, sorry for the double post but I wanted to separate my previous message from this)
dark_J I believe that what taco meant to say is that you are cluttering up the thread with information about your ships (I share this opinion Tacotown99 ). Which looks like excessive advertising. If you want to mention your ship then that's fine, but don't start finely detailing them in...
Thanks :)
The core mechanic is going to go out the window eventually so separating the ship would just be a useless time expense.
As for the interiors, it's a completely hollow shell at the moment :p .
Edit: Holy crap, page 4 :O
Oh, I kinda did that once. I was in a tiny ship and the enemy base turrets were shooting me so I just dodged and hid behind a big enemy ship.
The turret eventually cracked the shields and I had fun moving around behind cover (basically getting the bigger ship damaged all over).
I think that heavily damaging it is more evil for big ships.
Basically, the owner will feel forced to either disasemble it or repair it. Both of which can take a significant amount of time (unless he's using a planet eater of course, but even then...).
The ad space currently located at the top should be moved to the bottom of the website.
It currently has a very "in your face" placement. It's really cluttering up the top part of the website and general navigation (and I couldn't personally care less about ads display). It's pretty much just...
Not only move it, but rotate it. I built a 130k mass turret and finished it only to realize that the entire thing had been built upside down -_- (luckily smedit saved me)
I'd really like the ability to move and rotate the core to be a feature IN THE GAME.
I love big ships AND small ships. Small ships are agile (and a pain in the ass to kill hehehe). Big ships are imposing, intimidating and lots of fun to build. I'd spit out 3 small ships per day if that's all I made.
Some people just call big ships frigates to piss off the person who built it ;) . Big ships just give more opportunity for detail (it's also harder to scale up the detail once you reach a certain size). To be honest, I've seen very few good looking original (self-inspired) ships that were over...
