Is a profoundly stupid argument against its implementation. Adding a second, non-rechargable healthbar that would make hardened hull actually relevant would not yield the same results as doubling shield capacity.
Alright so the idea of having an overall "hull health" for your ship separate from the shields isn't a new idea. What inspired this suggestion is the post by MYbattlecruiserisawesom, so credit for that is due.
So it makes sense for several reasons, and it can be implemented in a way that makes...
/despawn_all MOB all true
type that and it will despawn all pirates in the game
every time you see a pirate type it and they\'ll be gone
poof
no more pirate
Currently the in-game healthbar is 100% useless and kind of confusing while you\'re flying a ship, so it\'d be kind of cool if your ship had a functional healthbar and didn\'t have to worry about core drilling the instant your shields go down.
the sheer fact that this was done by hand is impressive enough
do you plan on adding like meditation pools and the like to the grounds? looks like it\'ll be awesome when finished
The Lillymu Mercenary Co. would like to open formal channels with the Tartaran Empire. We have extremely hardy, combat-tested vessels and we\'ve recently succeeded in a raid on The Collective\'s base, their fleet of AI TAC cubes, and everything that wasn\'t nailed down was destroyed without a...
I feel your pain. I really hate how adding docking enhanches requires that you have an extremely high cieling in your hangar, so all of my builds just use variations of this shuttle in their hangar bays since none of them are actually carriers. It accelerates from 1-200 in less than 2 seconds...
i mean they just sorta backpedal a bit and wiggle while your guns lay into them, and they hardly ever fire their guns even when the power is available.
simple: have a hypercore take an assload of power to recharge.
so if youre in an enemy\'s base and you want to hyperspace jump out, you\'re going to have to turn off your weapons and engines and wait for it to recharge. hyperspace jumping would be a viable and fair tactic because they can...
why not just use like a homeworld-style hyperspace system?

like just straight up teleporting the ships after theyve charged up their hyperspace cores sounds like it\'d be a lot easier for servers to handle.

yes please something like this. just have it only remove blocks from the ship its attatched to
a 10k mass ship isnt even that big. i\'d expect a small squadron of bombers to be able to overcome something that small unless it was specialized with anti-fighter weaponry
