      AI aiming at blocks

In the release thread for the HP update Schema did mention that AI will eventually aim at systems.

On the Efficiency of Rail Turrets

A way to solve that would be an easy method to toggle AI on and off, so when you stow it the turret switches off, with the range of motion it would have while deployed saved.

StarMade v0.19282: Putting more fun into battles. Also, boarding!

Honestly, a lot of old ships work just fine for me. Other than missile-fighters nothing has really taken a hit performance wise that I've tried.

Recognized Add 'Repair/Reboot all docked entities' option at Shop

For computer functionality something I would love is a way to activate the AI/faction module on anything in the docking chain of the entity you're in during build mode, but that's a different topic really.

      Starting Items

You can buy them from the shop, for grossly inflated prices.

Recognized Add 'Repair/Reboot all docked entities' option at Shop

If not at shops I definitely want this as a shipyard feature. Drone racks are cool and all, but getting them set up can be a pain.

Increase Torch power, disable block placement during boarding attempt

True, I was suggesting a fix for one specific problem. As it stands right now, boarding isn't really practical.

Increase Torch power, disable block placement during boarding attempt

I have a solution to that. Let Astronauts choose their alignment angle. I kind of wish we had that feature already.

Disabling Systems after HP % is Pointless, PART TWO!

If the time frame before destruction were tighter you'd need a pretty hefty salvager to be able to pull that off. And salvaging a non-overheating ship is impossible, so stealing an intact ship is only possible through boarding. Salvage beams also can't pick up cargo or loot clouds. And as for...

Disabling Systems after HP % is Pointless, PART TWO!

It adds a bit of immersion, as your ship begins to take damage its performance gets worse all round. And I wouldn't say boarding is a gimmick. Incomplete, but that's too be expected. Something I would recommend is speeding up the self destruct sequence, forcing players to disable (or head on...

Disabling Systems after HP % is Pointless, PART TWO!

Honestly, the debuff is slight enough that it doesn't feel crippling, while still having a bit of a presence. I'm not especially fussed by it either way, but it's not really a bother. My disappearing weapon computers on some of my ships on the other hand is a much bigger penalty :P

      Gigantism

Smaller ships seem to benefit from the recent overhaul in the survivability department more than you would think. Advanced armour eats hits pretty well, and do their small size their armour is pretty much always going to get hit, giving you the armour bonus. They're not going to be tanking...

      Gigantism

The bigger a ship is the less blocks you have to remove proportionally. Pulse missiles are very effective, from any size really, so a dedicated bomber is viable for when the shields are down.

Disabling systems after HP % is Pointless

Stealth ships are really good for finding a blind spot. If you're on a server with some beefier pirates I find a good thing to do early on is attack a station to bring in reinforcements then bump on stealth, find the ship of your choosing and have fun pirating pirates. Note: There is so much...

      That HP system......

Pierce and Punch Through should both be working fine as far as I know. Armour doesn't give you any extra health, but it increases your "armour hp". While you have armour HP you take half damage from everything. So having a fair chunk of armour is a good thing. Advanced Armour is also really...

      Question about the Torch

A machine gun turret or missile turret should make short work of an astronaut, without needing too much space. You could also try hiring NPC guards?

      Proper Measurement for ship strength

Honestly, they kind of can't. Maybe they could scrap everything they've got so far, but that's a very unreasonable suggestion. Even then, is there any viable alternative to the system of "more blocks placed = more whatever that block does? Because I honestly can't think of one. What they can do...

      Proper Measurement for ship strength

It's far too early too say how much the HP system will affect things as far as shielding goes (ion weapons and missiles could handle armourless ships pretty nicely in theory), but I do mostly agree at the moment. Once shipyards, repairs and the like are finished, and fixing up damaged ships is...

      Proper Measurement for ship strength

I'd really like to the missile set up a 500 mass ship that can do that kind of damage, especially with point defence being buffed now. The only thing I can think of is Pulse Missiles at point blank range, assuming the ship in question has lost its armour.

      Astronaut teleporting in ships.

I was giving the new boarding tools a try on a large ship with a pirate AI set, and it would occasionally teleport me to random spots on the ship while I was using the blowtorch. This happened frequently enough that cutting through something like a faction module was basically impossible.
