      I'm simply posing counter arguments Visitor, do not get me wrong, I love the idea of crew, but i think playing devils advocate helps to expand great ideas and iron out potential issues early. I also think having options is also nice. Ofc, if we could reskin Dave and save the skin with ships...

      I'd steer away from forcing people into having crew, some people may not want that within their ship's concept - i.e. look at keptick's Charon. The lore behind that suggests the ship itself is an AI, no real crew needed. Thus having a bunch of daves running around may decrease from the designers...

      Sure you could rotate the rotor twice, but I think the aesthetic value would be lost. Imagine Bench's Imperial Shuttle wings with a stutter in the middle... unless pulsing the rotate 'command' in quick succession provides one continues movement to the final angle? I've never pulsed the rotate...

      although would it not make sense to make it 360°? then you could have obtuse angles as well. If i understand you correctly, the ratio can never exceed 1 so the max rotation in your equation tops out at 180°

      Looking good! Keep it up :) Keep experimenting with the placement of the coloured crystals behind the ice. You can also achieve cool results with mulitple colours as well as placing the light block in other locations (not directly behind the ice). Are you on the NFD build server at all?

      Sorry for the late reply, forgot about this. As an update, i found containing the entity that was moving seemed to work (i.e. have an elevator surrounded by walls where possible. If I can get a BP that isn't borked which has this issue i'll send it across to you AndyP

      I like the general look of the ship bud, I'd suggest putting ice (not ice crystal, just ice) over the engines and have a play with the effect of light emission through ice. It can create really nice effects with some real depth :)
