      Larger weapons have greater range inside an atmosphere because air resistance causes a dropoff. in space there is no air resitance and no resulting dropoff.

      Those are... all fair points actually; the only part I can really fault you on is "that isn't going to do jack-shit to the kinds of weapons that get built" which can be applied to literally any kind of defense as a justifcation for weapons being OP. Threads closed everybody.

      AI already has the ability to target specific blocks. It used to target the core but now it picks a random system and targets its blocks.

      4. In terms of effectiveness sphere turrets can fit halfway inside the hull and have the widest range of motion. This is more laggy when they undock though.

      Current PvE is essentially identical to when you left. However criss is working on a completely new set of TG ships so that might change in the next few months.

      If I knew all my stuff could be destroyed with zero effort while I was asleep I simply wouldn't play pvp anymore. Largely because thats not even pvp; thats player vs innanimate, non retaliating, object that happens to be owned by another player.

      Nah docked shields have their legitimate uses in pvp. just not in ways that are intuative.

      These are some very simple tweaks that would have almost zero impact on existing gameplay while allowing a few more options in regards to building: Turret rotors do not reset on (reset turrets) if there is no AI connected to them. This would allow use of turret rotors for decorative purposes...
