Dave Blender Model
Since we now have an official 3D model exporter for our ships there was always one thing missing. Dave! or at least our player model. Now with some work I've managed to convert the player model and rig it so anyone with blender can pose him and/or create animations...
Perhaps, i did suggest that it should mimic the quick boosts from Armored Core: For Answer but then again its very much in the planning stages. Im sure more details will come out as it gets put into production.
something that I've been wanting for a very long time and now we have a way to do it. I would also suggest that bobby AI blocks also output a logic signal if they are going after a target.

tried that. wasn't sure if it worked but maybe it did cuz now that you mention it that was the Uriel MK-II was the only I tried it for and it the only one that has animations. I gotta try that for the other ones, though not sure how it will work with models that already exist on sketchfab.
ok a bit of a update, i managed to do some tests with the randomizer and indeed it does increase the charge speed. It seems the jump drive comp has been changed so it can be connected to multiple logic blocks at once meaning that it can receive a separate simultaneous signals at once. dozens of...
shininess appears to be a balance between specular color and glossiness. I get better results with color being lower then glossiness.
oh and before i forget i made the emission maps for the console1 and the light bar.
np, dude. and don't forget that you can add normal maps too to give all the textures some well...texture, in short everything won't look so flat with normal maps. They can be found right in the starmade files.
was just helping jzimmerman4 with that exact problem a few posts ago. download the emission maps that I uploaded then go to each texture in the material tab then add the corresponding emission map. For best results turn on the bloom effect in the post processing filters.

I managed to create some better emission maps! These should include all glowing bits of all blocks. With this they should make your ships look closer to their in game counteparts.
